William Senapedis PhD
Dr. William Senapedis is a seasoned biopharmaceutical expert specializing in translational medicine, biomarker strategy, and drug development. With over 20 years of experience, he has led biomarker-driven strategies, regulatory submissions, and clinical trial design across oncology, immunology, and rare diseases. At Omega Therapeutics, he played a key role in the development of epigenomic controllers, (project lead for clinical candidate OTX-2002), for gene regulation, and at Karyopharm Therapeutics, he contributed to the discovery and clinical development of XPO1 inhibitors, including contribution to the FDA-approved drug selinexor (Xpovio®), for hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. He has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on biomarker strategies and drug development and has collaborated with leading academic institutions, biotech startups, and pharmaceutical companies to advance precision medicine approaches. Now, as the founder of BioTargeted Solutions, he provides strategic consulting to biotech and pharmaceutical companies, guiding them through drug development, biomarker integration, and regulatory strategy to accelerate the path to impactful new therapies.
